Dive for a Cause - 2010

Charity: Tobermory Hyperbaric Unit

Located in the vicinity of Tobermory, ON a favorite destination for divers, this facility is always on standby in case of a dive emergency. The compression chamber received it last maintenance re-fit way back in 1987. Funds raised will be used towards much needed maintenance for the chamber and the facility.

    • The Venue / Events

    The event location for 2010 was a dive at the Welland Scuba Park in the area of Welland, ON.
    The 2010 event featured an underwater poker run.
    We thank all who joined us to raise funds for the Tobermory Chamber and win prizes for participants.

    Once again Hart House Underwater Club held a satellite event with their

    5th Annual Underwater Pumpking and Shore Carving Event on October 17th, 2009


    Join Hart House Underwater Club and other OUC member divers as we carve pumpkins and together Dive For a Cause this weeked at Cherry Beach park.

    The Tobermory Hyperbaric Clinic & Chamber was the recipient of over $3,000 in donations in 2010.
