How can you participate?


Join the Event | Pledge the Event | Sponsor the Event | Hold a Satellite Event

Participation Method #1:

Join our team on a fund raising dive.
Our main dive event this year will be a dive on the Morrison at Centennial Beach in Barrie,ON. To participate in our day of diving, fun , underwater games, etc. you will need to first register. The Registration is a minimum $20.00 pledge to join the dive event.
You are welcome to download a pledge form from the link to the left. You can collect funds directly, adding your sponsors' information to the pledge form. Bring the pledge form and funds (a single cheque coveraging the total is fine)to the event. If you wish you can create your own online pledge site on our team event site. This allows your sponsors to see how you are doing towards your personal and the team goals.

Go to our Dive4ACause page on the CF website and Join this Team.
Then create a sub-page of your own where you can send your friends to contribute. You can add your own message/story, photos and videos to make your site unique. Please note that this charity was picked because a club member has a family frind with CF. As the family lives in Mississauga, we are defaulting our contributions to Cenral Ontario (Peel & District). You are permitted to change the region for your contribution.

Once you have completed building the page, you will be sent a confirmation email which will include a link directly to your site. You should send this link out to your friends and family and encourage them to sponsor you. This allows the sponsors to contribute using their credit cards on Cystic Fibrosis' secure site.

Set a realistic goal and try to pass it. Every penny helps!
So, remember, don't take long to think about this ... step up and make a difference!!!!!

Go to our online Dive4ACause page on the CF website and Sponsor this Team. This allows the you to sponsor using your credit card on Cystic Fibrosis' secure site.



Participation Method #3:
hhuclogo Become a Satellite Event Sponsor.
Dedicate one of your club/store dives to fund raise as part of our cause.
Contact us to receive sponsor materials including a pledge form to collect donations or pledge online.
Provide us with promotional material to place on our various websites.

In past years, Hart House Scuba Club has had satellite events in conjunction with Dive 4 A Cause.

Participation Method #4:
cflogo Become a Sponsor for our fundraising cause.
Your store / organization can help by providing donations, prizes, advertising, or other help.
